The Cook Islands Dollars Banknote is part of the 1992 series that pays homage to the 15 major islands of the country. The series also added watermarks and solid security threads to better protect the banknotes against counterfeiting. This particular 3-dollar banknote is pink and measures 150 x 75 mm. The front side shows a group of worshipers leaving a church with palm trees in the background. Meanwhile, the back side features dancers and drummers along with the map of Auitutaki and Manaue. Also depicted is the blue lorikeet bird, a native of the Cook Islands.
