    Description

The 1992 Cook Island dollar series all have the same obverse design: a group of worshippers going out of a church with palm trees in the background, a line of shells and flowers, and an outline of a ship near the upper left-hand corner. However, each denomination comes in different colors and features a different island on its reverse side. The bank notes all have a sea turtle watermark and a solid security thread. All the bank notes are 150 mm long and 75 mm wide. The 10 dollar note is green and its reverse features Rarotongathe Te Manga mountain and the parliament. The reverse also features a lizard, a flower, a fruit dove and a ship. The 20 dollar note is orange and its reverse features Ngaputoru and Mangaia two men working on a canoe, the map of the Southern islands, a crab, a ship and a Mangalan kingfisher. The 50 dollar note is black and its reverse features the Northern Group of Islands. It includes a map of the Northern islands, a string of pearls, three people on a canoe, two female hat weavers, a sooty tern bird and a ship.
