    288.  2 VINTAGE GOVERNMENT OF FIJI PAPER BANK NOTES ~ TWO SHILLINGS (#88124, JAN. 1, 1942) AND ONE POUND (#61242, JAN. 1, 1941) NOTES
    DESCRIPTION
    :
    2 vintage paper bank notes, both were issued by the Government of Fiji, items have been circulated and date from 1941 and 1942, the 2 shillings note is printed on one side only, the 1 pound note has printing on both sides and a watermark (shows head of unknown person), and these items were brought to the US by an Ohio soldier that served in World War 2.
    MEASUREMENTS
    :
    The 2 shillings note measures about 2-5/8 x 4-3/8 inches and the 1 pound note is 3-1/2 x 7-5/8 inches.

    These items have visible wear, scuffs, small scratches, many creases and small folds, small edge tears, light stains, smudges, and these items have some yellowing and/or browning due to age and use
